This workshop goes right to the core of how NLP was created with Stephen Gilligan as the present day master and YOU and your course colleagues as the modellers.
Forty years ago, alongside John Grinder and Richard Bandler, Stephen Gilligan participated in the now legendary modelling project on Milton Erickson which gave birth to many of the NLP models.
Stephen modelled Erickson for a further 5 years after the NLP co-creators had completed their Ericksonian work. Stephen’s in depth study on the work of Milton Erickson was the beginning of his journey to become an extraordinary therapist in his own right. Now it’s your turn to have the opportunity to model a master.
As a modeller you will exhibit the attitude, state and desire to absorb and code excellence. The modelling nature of this workshop is a stark contrast to the left brain lecture style which has become a feature in many contemporary NLP courses. During this in-depth four day exploration into the structure of mastery inherent in the work of Stephen Gilligan you will observe and experience Gilligan’s at work beginning with the client’s current life situation and how Gilligan naturally applies his extraordinary skill set to enable the client to connect to resources for deep and lasting change.
Stephens’s extended work with Milton Erickson created a context for him to become one of the most esteemed teachers and practitioners of Ericksonian hypnotherapy in the world. This work unfolded into his original approaches of Self-Relations and Generative Self, and then further (in collaboration with Robert Dilts) into Generative Coaching. These different traditions have all been updated and integrated into the present Generative Change Work, which includes the applications of Generative Coaching, Generative Psychotherapy, Generative Trance, Hero’s Journey, and Systemic Change work.
The NLP Academy is delighted to collaborate with Stephen Gilligan in this exciting four day experience where you will be exposed to a Holan like display of Stephen’s work experiencing the various parts and the whole simultaneously creating an integrated experience of change and learning.
